Marketing & Communications Internship - Ongoing
We are continuously looking to engage with college students on a contract basis to support various clients and projects.
About the Role: Dreibrodt Consulting is seeking marketing and communications intern(s) on an ongoing, contract basis, to support a variety of projects and client needs. With flexibility and positive learning at the core, each internship experience will be customized to fit the strengths, core competencies, interest areas, and availability of the student we’re working with. Routine responsibilities can include (but are not limited to):
Social media content creation including copywriting, graphic design, short-form video editing.
Writing press releases, media advisories, pitch notes, and other long-form content.
Marketing collateral creation, such as sales materials, digital copywriting, white papers, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
Research to identify social media trends, support creation of media lists, identify speaking opportunities, better understand competitive landscapes, inform strategic planning activities, etc.
Conduct interviews to inform content development.
Photography and/or videography.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, public affairs, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of and proficiency in AP Style.
Ability to work independently and virtually with own equipment (computer, smart phone), email and internet access.
Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office platforms, including Docs, Word, Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint and Slides.
Ability to meet defined deadlines, communicate issues proactively, and utilize existing resources to problem-solve.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and complete a W9 form.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in short-form video editing (TikTok, reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Proficient in Canva or Adobe design software.
Knowledge of animal health, agriculture, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
Logistics:
Fully remote position (opportunities for client travel or in-person meetings to be discussed on a case-by-case basis).
Paid hourly as a 1099 contractor with roughly 2 to 10 hours per week.
